The mission of this blog is to assist individuals in achieving higher performance.
This means I will introduce sport psychology techniques to help overcome issues related to performance.

This is not a therapy blog, this blog is to take you to the next level you are capable of achieving.
I will not teach athletic skills, public speaking, or any other skill. For this site to be useful you need to be an elite performer in an area you have chosen. Notably, my English and typing skills are poor. No need to point this out to me.

Obvious facts.
If they are not obvious to you or you believe they are not obvious or you believe they are wrong,
this blog is not for you. This is not the kind of blog where being philosophical is of any value.

1)If you are elite or you think you are elite; you will know all of your competitors.( probably some are friends, but most are not).

2) An individual is elite because of talent, hard work, persistence, desire and  has performed against others and generally  winning or very close to winning.

3) Competition is important for what it does to you, the individual, not what it does to the other competitors.

Each week I will address a new impediment  to elite performance and suggest a way of overcoming this impediment.Further, I will discuss stress management in general and in specific situations. This means the general stress of training and the specific stress presented in competition. If you request, I will suggest a specific strategy. I do not know every sport, nor do I perform in many sports.
My background in sports; competitive long distance runner in the early 70s. Rock Climber 70-88. Off road motorcycles. Heavy lifting events now and competitive target shooting (shotgun) currently . Commanding office of a USMC Artillery Battery in the 80s

Thank you,
